Uploading files to your web site using FileZilla
This tutorial shows you how to set up FileZilla to transfer files to (and from) your web site.
Downloading FileZilla
FileZilla is an excellent, and FREE, progam. You can donwload it from here.Once downloaded, double-click the program to install it.
Configuring FileZilla

In FileZilla, select File > Site Manager...
- In the Site Manager, click the "New Site" burron.
- Give your site a name - I called mine "my web site".
- In the Site details on the left, enter your information as follows:
- Host
- Enter your web site domain name.
- Servertype
- Select "SFTP using SSH2" from the drop-down menu.
- Logontype
- Choose the "Normal" radio button.
- User
- Enter the username for your account.
- Password
- Enter the password for your account.
- Click Connect.
