Setting Up Your E-mail in Microsoft Outlook
This tutorial shows you how to set up Microsoft Outlook 2007 to work with your e-mail account.
To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Microsoft Outlook

In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > Account Settings.
- On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select "New...".
- This will ONLY appear if you already have an account configured in Outlook!
Select "Microsoft Exchange, POP, IMAP, or HTTP" and click Next.
- Check the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click Next.
- Select "Internet E-mail" and click Next.
- On the Internet E-mail Settings window, enter your information as follows:
- Your Name
- Enter your full name.
- E-mail Address
- Enter your e-mail address.
- Account Type:
- Select POP3 from the drop-down menu.
- Incoming mail server
- Enter mail.servershack.com for your incoming mail server.
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
- Enter mail.servershack.com for your outgoing mail server.
- User Name
- Enter your e-mail address (Note! This is your full e-mail address again)
- Password
- Enter the password for your e-mail account.
- Remember password
- Check this box if you want Outlook to remember your password.
- On the Internet E-mail Settings window, select the "Outgoing Server" tab.
- Select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication."
- Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
- Select the "Advanced" tab and change the "Outgoing server (SMTP)" port to 2525.
- Click OK.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
Click "More Settings."
